New to cooking? Seasoned cook, but need a but of inspiration? Or trying to eat more whole foods and vegetarian meals? Woodruffs cookery classes are just what the doctor ordered. Erin Baker is a certified whole foods instructor with more than 10 years professional experience of vegetarian cooking with whole foods.
The gourmet vegetarian cookery classes are held at Woodruffs café and are very hands on. Erin conveys a general knowledge of cooking in a relaxed and fun atmosphere while providing a professional demonstration and instruction for the evening’s theme.
The evening commences with nibbles and drinks while listening to a talk about ingredients and methods before moving into the kitchen. We will provide you with the recipes, ingredients and equipment to cook your way through the evening, before sitting down to enjoy the fruits of your labours with a drink and a discussion about the process. No washing up, though, we’ll do that!
Our Vegetarian Cookery Classes at Woodruffs are taught by our previous Head Chef Erin Baker, a certified chef tutor with more than 20 years of professional experience in vegetarian catering. Her recipes are full of seasonal vegetables and influenced by world flavours.

FULLY BOOKED Street food has taken the world by storm as creative chefs showcase their cuisine by selling high class food in a informal setting. This class will explore vegetarian version of traditional street foods from around the world. These tasty bites are an explosion of flavours, tastes and aromas. Example Menu: Mexican tamales/Som Tum – Thai green papaya salad/Brazilian Empanadas/Aloo tikka – Indian potato cakes with tamarind chutney/Socca – French chickpea crepes
